Who I am & My Mission
I have long cherished my middle name, Angel, and made a deliberate decision in my early twenties to exclusively use both my first and middle names. Welcome to my page. I hope that whoever lands here finds the piece of themselves they may be searching for.

Now at 36, I am a mother of two boys, with a thirteen-year age gap between them. I am in a fulfilling partnership with the love of my life, a relationship that has brought me happiness and grounding.

From 2009 to 2020, I devoted myself to competitive boxing at an elite and professional level. While the sport gave me purpose and drive, it also took a toll on my physical and mental well-being. In the latter part of my career, I began to truly grasp the risks I had been living with daily. When I became pregnant with my second son, I decided to hang up the gloves for good.

What followed was a deeply challenging chapter of my life. Without boxing, I faced the daunting question: "Who am I without this identity?" The last four years have been an excruciating yet transformative journey of rediscovery.

Leaving the city behind, my family and I embraced an off-grid life in Nova Scotia. It was there, surrounded by nature, that I began to find myself again. But finding myself meant confronting my past. Every joy, every loss, and every part of me I had ignored in pursuit of a dream.

Today I am channeling that journey of healing into my work as a podcaster and writer. Through my podcast, I explore mental health, identity, and the lessons we learn from our struggles, offering a space for connection and conversation. Writing my memoir has been another powerful outlet, allowing me to revisit my story with compassion and honesty, transforming pain into purpose.

I am committed to sharing my journey, not as someone who has all the answers, but as someone who is still learning, still recovering and still healing. My hope is that throughout my words and my voice, others might find strength, healing, and the courage to embrace their own stories.
